Don't Pass Odds After Point Is Set

So i've only been playing Craps for about 2 years now but it's quickly become the only game I will play in a casino. I love the action. I'm only a Don't Pass player, mostly because i'm a 'glass is half empty kinda guy' (or I lost too much money playing Pass in the past )
Over the past year I have been logging all my casino trips, with my win/loss records. I am happy to say that most of my sessions have either been slighty positive ($50 or so up) or breaking even. Which I guess you can say is a positive considering the casino is normally a place where you lose money over time.
My problem is i've yet to really have a session where I end up a big winner. Normally whenever I can double my stack, all it takes is a hot couple of shooters to quickly bring me back down to Earth.
I usually play a $10 table. I'll buy in for $200-300. $10 on the Don't Pass, once the point is established I usually put 2x odds and a Don't Come Bet, followed by another 2x odds bet. If the table is feeling very cold I will sometimes place 2 or even 3 Don't Come bets with the hope on cashing in on at least 2 of them.
If the shooter makes his first point, I stay off him until the dice are passed again. Also, 2 7/11's in a row on the come out and I usually avoid any more bets until the next shooter. I find it's a good method to at the very least, stay at the table longer.
I know playing the Don't Pass is a grind, but anybody have any tips on how I should maybe change up my betting? Is it just a matter of choosing a time when I should bet big, or does grinding it out really pay off in the long run?

Don't Pass Odds In Craps

Reliable online casino. European roulette wheel layout. The next table shows the combined house edge on the don't pass or don't come, backed up by laying the full odds. The house edges in the don't table below are significantly less than the do table above. For example, with 3X-4X-5X odds the combined house edge on the pass is 0.374%, while on the don't pass is 0.273%. It's a simple strategy that does 2 things; first, I get 'true odds' on my bets while the pass/don't pass and come/don't come bets cancel each other out. Second, my odds are not placed until the 4th or 5th roll in an effort to avoid any 'cold' shooters that will 7 out in the first 3-4 rolls. If your don't-pass or don't-come flat bet is $10 and the point is five or nine, subtract one from five to get four, giving you odds of 4:6 (instead of 6:4), or 2:3. This means you have to bet $30 (on a 2X table) in odds to get a $20 payout, winning you a total of $30 ($10 flat + $20 odds). Odds bets can be placed on any Don't Pass bet following an established point. Soboba new casino.
